Legislative update with Rep. Kristina Shelton

The state legislature is in session in Madison. On the show, we catch up with Green Bay Representative Kristina Shelton. The 90th Assembly District Representative was re-elected in November 2022 to a second term.  Shelton discusses the biennial budget, goals for the legislative session and what she would like lawmakers to pass to help Wisconsinites.

Terry Lee worked for a decade in small and medium size markets as a local radio news reporter in Minnesota and Wisconsin, earning awards for journalism and newscasts. After starting a family in Green Bay, Terry became a morning show producer for a local television station before making the tough choice to move on from journalism. After years of community advocacy, running for office and involvement in politics, Terry conceptualized Local & Vocal: A Green Bay Area Podcast. The mission for Local & Vocal is to lift up more and diverse voices, opinions and support local news in the area through one-on-one interviews and group discussions.
